With her killer hour glass figure and curves to die for, Kelly Brook attracts a huge following wherever she goes.  Her newest collaboration with Simply Be has been much anticipated and with fashion for curvy figures from a size 10 up, a partnership of dreams!

Until lately, Simply Be were a fashion brand exclusively for plus sizes above 14.  Now, with the recognition that slim girls can indeed be curvy girls, they’ve expanded their size catchment to include 10s and 12s.  Fantastic news for women who struggle to find fab clothes that fit.

I was so excited when Simply Be announced Kelly Brook‘s collection so I’m thrilled to bring you my first review from the company with a piece from the gorgeous new range.

The 50s inspired black Midi Dress is such a gorgeous piece!  I was sent it in my usual size 12.  Fabricated in a sumptuous jersey, the silver lurex rich dress is stunning.  Cut below the knee and nipped in at the waist, the design pays homage to silver screen style icons epitomising the classically cute glamour of Audrey Hepburn.

I wouldn’t normally choose to wear a mid length hem but I was drawn by the overall flattering shape, with emphasis to the waist and the softly draping full skirt.  It’s a sleeveless design with a moderately plunging neckline so it’s a beauty for showing off a little cleavage!  It would have been a nice touch to see little cap sleeves, but the exclusion of any sleeving doesn’t detract from it’s look.

While Kelly’s midi dress is perfect for a glam night out, it’s a style that can be easily dressed for less glittering affairs.  The jersey shimmers with high intention, but feels amazingly comfy, perfect for pairing with a cropped fluffy cardi and wearing to the pub.

Simply Be and Kelly Brook have come up trumps with the luxe take on the classic swing dress, so I’m keen to see how the collaboration develops.  With Kelly’s fab figure and Simply Be’s wealth of curve knowledge, there could be more dazzling little numbers yet to come from the duo.

Hi Becky! How did you feel about the boob room of this dress? I am a size 10 but was wondering if it will be too tight around my chest.

      Hi Sophie!

The bust area is spot on actually, not tight at all, just fits like a glove. I wonder if you’d find tighter though, as you’re a smaller dress size than me but similar in boob size.
