Untold at House of Fraser | Decadence
Untold is a lingerie brand exclusive to House of Fraser here in the UK. With a more mature aesthetic and finer quality than an average everyday bra, Untold is about luxurious lingerie, much like Fauve and Masquerade.
It’s a brand I’ve noticed as I’ve shopped but never really looked into; knowing bands began from a 32 back put me off from trying as I very often need a 30. I have long been intrigued to try them out though, as I do love to wear a bra in gorgeous fabric and with acute attention to detailing.
House of Fraser, both in-store and online, sell such a good choice of brands, but sadly are yet to offer much to anyone over a G cup. My most worn size of a 30GG was thinly lacking in choice other than a couple of full coverage bras, so I opted for my sister size of a 32G. Given that there’s a sale currently underway (complete bargains, I may tell you!) I was surprised there was such a choice to choose from.
“Decadence looks every inch the indulgent treat”
The dark and sultry collection, Decadence, caught my eye. An underwired balcony in rich plum and berry tones, with mesh cups adorned with venetian style embroidery, Decadence looks every inch the indulgent treat.
Although Decadence is a sheer and light bra, the three section cups with dual layer side supports and plastic boning in the wings make for a well supported fit. The bra features semi adjustable straps and two hooks wide fastening. Gold coloured metal furnishings including a branded ‘Untold’ label compliment the bra’s warm berry shades, whilst purple and pink bows feature above a central gore cut out detail and accent the straps.
The fit is secure and supportive, but whilst a 32G often fits me, sadly this bra is substantially smaller in the cup, creating stand away from my chest. This leads me to suggest Untold – especially Decadence – may be smaller in the cup than you’d expect.
It would be so good for Untold to expand into the G+ territory, as this beautiful range is a seriously gorgeous option for the fuller bust.
