Christmas Lingerie Lust List

November 11, 2013
Christmas is irrefutably my favourite holiday of the year.  My seasonal reveling generally starts with listening to Christmas music then I get planning my Christmas cakes.  When thoughts are turned to presents, before you know it the big department stores are airing their Christmas adverts, vying for the coveted unofficial title of best Christmas ad of the year.

Yep, this weekend the adverts dominated TV.  The Marks & Spencer ad – a whimsical fairytale mash up starring models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and David Gandy (and the cute doggie, Sparkle!) – is a favourite, but the animated John Lewis ad is something totally different and undeniably heartwarming.  A bear who always misses out on Christmas because he hibernates through it, is given the gift of an alarm clock which wakes him up on Christmas Day and he’s in awe of the delights he sees.  Everybody go awwww!
As an adult, what I love about Christmas is typically old fashioned and it’s not about the presents.  I just love the mood, listening to good music, being relaxed and enjoying the moment with family.  And I’m such a Christmas decoration freak, I take a slightly obsessive pride in my trees!  But… I do still appreciate a nice present!  Christmas is the perfect excuse for luxuries and asking for what you’d maybe not get any other time of the year.

Lingerie in beautiful fabrics; silks, fine lace and sumptuous trimmings, look all the more alluring at Christmas.  Exotic shades and provocative designs boasting tantalizing sheer panels and cheeky flashes of flesh make winter a little easier to get through, knowing you’re wearing exquisite lingerie beneath the drabbest of thermals.

If Santa wants to bring me some lingerie luxury this year, I’d give him a huge smackeroo of a kiss under the mistletoe if this is what I’d find in my stocking:

I love lingerie, and your Christmas lingerie lust list is gorgeous! The emerald green satin lustre and delicate black lace of the Figleaves Boudoir set, and the lovely ornamentation of the Freya set are all lovely. The two sets I like the most from your wish list are that beautiful Boux Avenue Lyla Blossom set – the colourful florals are fabulous – and I pesonally love high waisted full cut retro style briefs, so the Gossard Revolution set with high waisted waist cincher brief is right up my alley. I’d love to see the tailoring from the back. I just received a beautiful retro satin pair of briefs I had ordered but got them in a size to small 🙁 Like you, I model, review and blog about lingerie (full briefs), bur unlike you I am very tardy. I’m way overdo to write another post on my blog.
